1958 FRIGIDAIRE CUSTOM IMPERIAL UNIMATIC (WCI-58)FILL
AND PAUSE (0.8mb)
This is just a bit of the wash fill and part of the pause before the washing
action begins.
THE SUDSY
WASH (16mb) or for your modem users THE
SUDSY WASH (8mb)
Here is about five minutes of the wash cycle, its broken down into segments
so you can see the suds building to a point of completely covering the agitator.
The first segment is the first two minutes of the wash cycle so you can see
how fast the suds builds up due to the large amount of detergent. You'll see
my hand come in and clear away a bit of suds from the center just so you can
see the agitator again.
THE OVERFLOW
WASH (1.3mb)
At the end of the wash cycle, about 2.75 gallons of water is filled into the
tub to float away lint and scum at the top, of course with this much suds, there
is not much that can be float away.
THE FIRST
SPIN (8mb)
This can only be believed by being seen. Watch what happens to all those mounds
of suds, many washers that I can think of both vintage and modern would choke
on all these suds. This video shows is the entire 1:20 first spin from start
to finish.
THE RINSE
FILL (2.5mb)
A video is worth a thousand pictures!
THE OVERFLOW
RINSE (6.8mb)
Obviously there will be some residual suds left in the clothes due to all that
detergent, but can you get water this clear in your machine doing the same experiment?
IMPERIAL
RAPIDRY (4.6mb)
The beginning and end of the final Frigidaire Imperial Rapidry spin (the final
spin is 4 minutes total) just cause its so much fun!
