I’m looking online but not seeing any copies for sale, PDF or physical, of the Use and Care Guide for the Kitchenaid 16 series dishwashers, KDS-16, etc. Does anyone have one or are they posted somewhere? Would also be interested in a KDS 15 use and care guide since it also has the same dispenser and sani-cycle heating element. Appreciate any leads. Already have the Service and Parts manuals from Automatice.org

I’m sure I have all that information somewhere, but it may be a little hard to put my finger on it, there wasn’t a lot of difference between the KDS 15 and 16 models, or even the 17 for that matter.
My favorite of the three was the KDS 16, it was fun watching KitchenAid take a great machine with the KD 10 and it continue to improve with every model change, I think my favorite two Hobart models were the KDS 16, and then the KDS 20
Once whirlpool took over the company the KDS 23 series was a great improvement, for the first time you didn’t have a stinky filter in the bottom of the dishwasher that had to be clean periodically that was a huge improvement for me.

I’m pretty sure I read a bunch of your posts John before committing to the 16, drove across a couple states to get one off Facebook marketplace and have been rebuilding it, gaskets, contacts and all. The wife is sick of it by now with all of my parts and reading I’ve been doing on rebuilding it but our kitchen refurb is nearly done and I’m really looking forward to having a machine that actually works. The one I got was from a caterer that had 2 kitchens, still had some sump rust but it was salvageable. With a new bottom from SendCutSend to match the original motor mount and some fancy Loctite EA 120HP epoxy, I’m confident everything will work.
I haven’t seen much in the way of use manuals on that machine, or really the 15/17 and I’m sure she doesn’t want to read my service manual. Really appreciate anything you might have, and I’m happy to pay if it does show up for sale. Cheers
