I want to repopulate my house with circa 1956-ish appliances since that is when my house was built.
I would like a nice refrigerator, and an electric range. I would love a pink range.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
My grandmother's house- she had a wonderful sink with a drainboard and she taught me to wash the dishes in a single bowl. Mostly my favorite because I miss my grandmother and the time we spent together.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I used to have a pink terrace top range I loved. The repair person said it could not be repaired so I had to replace it. I wish I still had it.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
No, but I am in the process of designing kitchen cabinets. I have also worked on vintage radios and I repair and maintain my collection of vintage sewing machines.
