Of course, Frigidaire washer, any year of the up and down motion. Hate the current Frig.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Next door neighbor Mrs. VanZant had a Frigidaire Washer and would let me watch the cycle.
After they moved the new neighbor had the Norge Time line washer.
Mom had the 48 front loader Bendix. Good thing about those front loaders, had a lint filter below the tub which would also catch the coins, etc.
Moms friend, Jane Welch had a Maytag (1956).
When we vacationed at Santa Cruze, our rental had Frigidaire appliances including laundry and flip down burner ranges.
Aunt Frances had the Western Auto with overflow rinse, must have been a solid tub.
Moms electrolux vacuum, bought for $300 in the 1950s. Had the automatic pop-out bag. You had to buy the bags from the salespersons!
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
1. 1950 Maytag AMP washer, perforated/solid tub with sensor tabs in lid and chrome riser in agitator.
2. Whirlpool dishwasher, top loader with "fan" distribution of water.
3. 1965 GE Filter-Flo.
4. Kenmore washer and dryer circa 1970, obviously belt drive washer with solenoid action.
5. 1980 Maytag washer and dryer. Cost $500 each at the time.
6. 1985 Lady Kenmore Solid State Heavy Duty Washer and non-matching Kenmore Dryer.
7. 2001 New Maytag washer and dryer, Performa units equal to commercial units, Maytag still spins full of water, probably to get the clothes higher up on the tub.

Washer, replaced belt in Kenmore 1980s machine. Repaired dishwasher. Have always installed my appliances.
