What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Had a 1973 Maytag direct drive dishwasher, the noises it made, the sheer power of it, it was all so mesmerizing. Spent lots of time trying to figure out how it worked by just listening to it.
Also the two fridges in the basement, one Harvest gold Whirlpool and one nearly identical Inglis fridge. One with a Tecumseh compressor and one with a Danfoss compressor. The Inglis was scrapped unfortunately
