Yeah, they are seriously way off with the age. These are more like 30 years old, or slightly older. I can't see the units very well, due to the small photos, but they look like they are in pretty good shape! Andy

Yeah, it hums like that on all water temperatures, cold, hot, warm. And it also hums on both fills, for wash, and for the rinse. I'll have to check the hoses and make sure they are not clogged. Probably a valve going out of it, it's a 2 year old machine, and it's about time for it to start...

Here's a listing on Ebay for a GE harvest gold filter flo washing machine with dryer. Says they are from the 1970's, but not sure about that, due to the chrome pushbuttons on the dryer. The pushbutton models came after the toggle switch models, I believe. Located in Tennessee. Somebody correct...
