Is there any difference in the " New Avocado " appliance paint vs Just plain Avocado ??? was the " New Avocado " applied to later models, and Avocado applied to earlier models ??? or are they both the same color ??? Jim

Dennis Yes they still do... I have a couple other baseplates with the smaller drain holes.. before the guy who does this retires....I can't remember how much it was I think 100, to 150. that included the 10ft... I Think... it was a couple years ago.... piece of NON magnetic steel tube too Jim

#25 Yes you have to change the speed while the dryer is running... both machines still had the original spec stickers on them... I can't remember what the speed change was...I do remember though the sticker said in Low/Delicate the burner modulated down to 20,000 from 30,000

Dennis Being that the 9800's were my first set of vintage appliances I was pretty gung-ho with them....one because they were my first set and two because they were nice looking and top of the line.... I have since cooled with that now that I have " So Many other Machines " I took the baseplate...

Great Machines !! I have a set of those also, I got from Kevin, like you though I have not had the time to finish them.... Hopefully soon .... they had the Quiet Pack... the thinner belt and pulley's to minimize Noise, I also like the option on the dryer to adjust the tumble speed.....
