    Miele Washer Woes

I guess Miele USA isn't as customer friendly as Miele NL Boy, you're so wrong. I absolutely despise Mieles nowadays. (and let's not start how shitty the washers have become since '97, RIP the ye olde 700-series quality :( ) Breaking/Aluminum drum spiders? REALLY MIELE?! A "fake" discount for...

Intresting article about drain pump noise

Came across this while searching something: http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?pid=S0012-73532015000200015&script=sci_arttext Apparently if you mod the drain pump housing of a older Bosch it makes the machine quite a lot quieter?

    Microchip controlled Miele machines question

I do not agree that 700-series machines came out in '87, a few days ago I took a W755 apart from.. 1985. I think you mean the Hydromatic/Novotronic machines aka the W71x series machines.

When did they came out? I can't be arsed to look it up in my books and Google won't work if you don't know the model number. I always thought the W780 was first but apparently they had 400-series machines with keys and a rapid advance/static timer? Pic related is what i'm looking for, it's...

Here's a vid of replacing the brushes from a W754S, also with a Muet engine. http://https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlLTKsFcaO4

Stuck spanner nut -- Maytag LAT2600AAE

Can't you -carefully- heat it up with a torch? It helped removing a stuck pedal on a Shimano bike crank for me.

    Miele Washer Woes

@above: "I can tell the motor on these are really heavy, but they're not so difficult to remove as stated here!" They are. It's not even hard to remove a Muet engine, 3 bolts (two on the right and one on the tensioning side) and it's out.

    Asko W8844XL

Looks like they haven't changed a thing in years! Except for the bearing spider and motor that is. Also Timon, there are a few things I want to ask about Asko, i'll PM you about it in a sec.
