My parents had one similar and it popped one day and shorted out. The sockets had begun to disintegrate from 30 + years of heat exposure. I bought new sockets on eBay and rewired it for them. Works like new

I de-molded the soap this morning and did the zap test and I'm happy to say it has all saponified. I still can't use it for six weeks or so. I left it natural white and unscented...it just smells like soap. I took some of the crumbs and used them to wash my hands and it lathered very well. It...

Any soapers on here? I just made a simple batch of coconut oil soap to use during winter when my skin is most dry and I can't find any soap I really like commercially. So far it has turned out nice and is now curing for about six weeks.

Thanks John. I think it is a 12k burner. It is smaller than the one on my own stove and it is a 15k..and mine the flame goes waaay out under a skillet. Next time I'm down there I'll go farther into it.

ASKO Miele Maytag-either orbital or Pittman driven. I love the turquoise agitators but the simplicity of my orbital.

Waaaay back in the day when we nurses had to wear the white uniforms we would occasionally use cascade or some dishwasher detergent in the load to keep them white. But that was when the powders were all chlorine based.

I keep a spray bottle with diluted dawn dishwashing liquid in my laundry cupboard to spray in grease spots that get in my clothes. If that doesn't, lestoil usually will.

Just give me an old fashioned hard side water bed and I'll be happy. We have a memory foam mattress I bought off eBay several years ago on our king bed. It came rolled up and vacuum sealed in plastic. It has held up fairly well. I need to put a pillow topper on it. Sleep number beds are fabulous!

Remove the igniters or just remove the gas valve under the bottom. Or disassemble everything you can. Spray paint a big red X across the top. If that doesn't get the message across they are too stupid to breathe.

I buy premiere chlorinated powder in eBay or from Zoro. Works great in my 94 KitchenAid and my 97 Maytag.
