Update First, thanks for the replies ... you all are a wealth of knowledge. Belts are fine. Motor only hums. If i manually turn the tub, it will momentarily turn a few revolutions, but i see sparks coming from the motor. Is this what you meant by the motor windings? Do i look for another...

Does anyone in the US have any experience with Beko washers and dryers. I am seriously considering purchasing a set from a local dealer. I need a compact stacked set. Any input would be appreciated.
