I'm not absolutely positive if I am allowed to post something like this. If not I am sorry. I run a business parting out appliance parts so I search around craigslist all the time for local items.
I found the one in the title listed. Its not something I would be interested in but thought...
The fabric softener dispenser/cap was essentially welded to the upper agitator. Its supposed to pop right out of it. Once you get the Cap/Dispenser off you can then access those two screws you put red arrows by to remove the upper agitator. Then the screw to remove the lower agitator base.
The...
You were right. Unfortunately the upper agitator didn't survive which was the main part I wanted to save. It gave out and broke before the Fabric Softener Dispenser did. When you said fused you weren't kidding.
I appreciate the replies. I have tried wedging a screwdriver in there and other things and not only does it not pop off, it doesn't even budge or even sort of separate at all. I have gone as far as putting a rag over it and hitting it pretty hard many times with a 3lb sledge to try and get it to...
I recently got a fully working Whirlpool LA7800XSW0 washer. The body was pretty roached out but I am trying to at least save whatever parts I can from it but I am having trouble getting the Fabric Softener Cap/Agitator Assembly off. I have taken apart tons of washers and have never had this...
First of all thanks for all the replies. So is the one I have an older Whirlpool Range made by Premier? I tried looking up the ID number to get a date but the site I use wanted a model number, which like I mentioned is pretty much unreadable. I figured maybe I could piggy back off the parts for...
That is where I got the picture. It looks almost exactly like it but its not it. It doesn't say premier on it where the knobs are. It says Whirlpool on the back glass. I was hoping to somehow find a close enough model number for mine from using the serial number so I can use the available...
I've taken apart an older Whirlpool Gas Stove and wanted to see if I could salvage some parts off from it. I can read the serial number just fine but the model number is almost completely gone. I was curious if there was a way to find the model number with the serial number? APL2101738 I do have...
I really don’t have the room to hold onto stuff very long. I guess I can throw it up on Craigslist and see if I get any interest. Anyone know about what something like this dryer is worth? I also have a few other older appliances which might interest the members here. An old frier, a maybe 1950s...
Unfortunately no where near Arizona. I live in Western, NY. As far as a price I'd be looking for a fair price for both parties. I don't know much about the Dryer other than what some of the parts are worth.
Sorry for the late reply I wasn’t sure if this site sent email notifications. I haven’t cleaned it or anything but here it is. When you push the on bottom up it runs great but I haven’t the slightest clue how to change functions. Buttons light up when I push them but nothing stays lit. I also...
I piece out washers/dryers and sometimes repair them. Normally if I get an older machine in I just piece out what I can and scrap the rest. It never really crossed my mind that they might be worth something as a whole to a collector. Being this is one of the older ones I have picked up I was...
