Also want to note that I was able to fix the old door gasket by replacing the metal wire inside of it with a piece of stain stainless wire because the old one rotted out completely

Thanks Jon and others for your help with this . Here’s the finished product . Upper rack I was able to modify to fit the 22 series with some stainless nuts as spacers . I kept the 23 series machine as a spare in case this one ever dies completely on me I’m waiting on your kitchen cabinets so...

Hmm I wonder if I could take the door and controls off the 22 and put them on the 23 . The 22 looks much nicer on the outside in my opinion

Well, here’s a quick update… I just spent four hours driving to go and find a donor machine for new racks this machine is in better shape than mine. However, it is a 23 series. Does anyone have any experience with trying to use the tank and heater out of a 23 with the controls from a 22?

is it 3m 5200 sealant I should be buying ? The blue and white tube ? They also make a 4200 . … just pulled the rest of the sump out and entire motor and glad to say that the lip of the tank is in great shape

Which 3m marine sealant do you recommend? I know 3m makes many different marine sealants .. also how good doesPLASTI dip re rack at hold up when repairing rusty racks
