14859 The off balance could be do to a worn snubber, or a loose snubber spring. The latter happened to me. Check the bolts to make sure they have not backed off. Good Luck! It is a beauty.

My 1960 Kenmore center post is rotten. What about using a sheath made of plastic or metal? If it fit over the existing center post (a really good fit), couldn't that be done? It would have to be a tight fit, but if it was the new donut gasket should seal it ok. Treat the center post with rust...

The wringer era is still alive at my house. I have a '53 Kenmore wringer and a '67 Kenmore Visimatic wringer. Both are used weekly with excellent results.

I need a good base plate for this washer. It is the 18 1/2 inch center post. The post on mine is rotted out. Anybody know of a repair for this if I can't find a good base plate? Any help is appreciated. 253-572-1263
