What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I am not sure I love the old antique type stoves gas like chamber stoves omg there are some beauties that are restored look brand new and some from Scandinavia out of this world with blue white tile !
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Wringer washer we had at camp but I feared the wringer as I had hair down to my butt
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
A lot of junk used stuff when first married and I had no professional career but after the kids were in school snd I was able to get my RN and education degree I was able with my husband salary afford nicer appliances ! The kitchen stove has to be my favorite til now that I am old cause I loved making everything from scratch from my garden, canning, pickling, jamming, and baking homemade bread!
Oh yes we do have a beautiful Dutch oven in our old Maine 250 old 21/2 story white clapboard home next to a hugh fireplace w metal out in shed my husbands parents bricked in fireplace as there is one in every room and he even blocked off the excellent old Dutch oven that we found a old clay pipe in ! When I had my husbands friend come over a bricklayer I asked if he could open it so I could bake bread he said absolutely we can I can knock few bricks out and your ready to go but unbelievable my 45 yr marriage husband would not allow it as he has wood stove pipes into brick work but the friend said it would not effect it ‘ so yeah I am still upset over that damn house
