Rapping/tapping noise Thanks. It definitely sounds like a belt or pulley hitting something as it goes around... Repair guy will come to take a look in the next few days.

Hi there - new to this community. I have a 1973 Maytag A207 washing machine. It was recently overhauled but it is making a dull non-stop rapping or tapping noise when washing. I starts as soon as the agitator starts to work. It doesn't do it when spinning. Belts, pump, bearings seals etc...
