    HI, I have just got a Hotpoint twin tub supermatic 9404

    Welcome to AW and the Hotpoint Spiraclean club , without the plug in turn both dials to full ie 12 mins on the timer and boil on the thermostat . Leave a few mins then gently fully turn to OFF position , see if that works like a re set .
