    Whirlpool Durawash Bobload!

Good thing! I would've hated that wash tower for the upper basket. This way of cleaning was banned from Euro dishwashers a very long time ago, so the results are far more superior and the detergents don't have to be that aggressive...

    Maytag dishwashers: Inside

Top load horizontal axis washing machines availability in Australia

Nevertheless Most today's fabrics won't stand 90°/95° anyway. I think he should go for that little treasure because H-axis does provide superior results IMHO...

    Electrolux Dishmaid Dishwasher 1961

Agree! I do wonder if it's really a decade of a "distance" between these two machines. AFAIK there were dishwashers like today in the 70ies yet...

    Electrolux Dishmaid Dishwasher 1961

Mixed up with the year Bauknecht's mini dishwasher has been from 1971...

    Electrolux Dishmaid Dishwasher 1961

I also doubt the cleaning ability of it Wonder if the women of that time really were proud of it. I mean, there are some unpractical steps to take before you've got the dishes clean and dry...

    Electrolux Dishmaid Dishwasher 1961

Thanks for sharing! Am unsure if I like it or not... Seems to use quite a lot of water and it's a pity that it doesn't heat it by itself and has no drain pump. I believe Bauknecht in Germany had a similar invention on the market in 1961... And it is a hell of noisy. But as a toy, I think it is...

    Westinghouse Laundromat

Fantastic machine I am not quite sure if these were available in Germany, too, because we have/had many big makers of appliances in the 1960s around here, e.g. Míele, AEG, BOSCH, Siemens, Bauknecht, Zanker, Candy to name a few. I might have heard that Westinghouse had a joint-venture with...

    1983 Kenmore Dishwasher

These beige... ...interiors are quite nice... Was it that common that the colour of the racks matched the over-all design? I mean turquoise or rose petal or avocado...

    Which Miele dishwasher?

At least... One wash-arm made from steel. This I find to be beneficial...

A Casserole to Scare the Pre-Rinsers

After all... ...it is a hit or miss game. But I think the dish-drawers do a good job. Euro dishwashers do pre-rinse(s), too, by the way...
