its still parked. was able to coat the hose from the spin side to the pump with sealer and that looks good. the hose from the wash side to the pump totally fell apart. so im trying to come up with something i can rig up to work. if im able to come up with what im thinking might work ill for...
well.. im rolling my eyes.. got the hoses coated with sealer let that cure got the pump back on the linkage reattached the hose from the spin side back on .. went to put the other hose back on and it split a good 2 1/2 inches up . am trying to figure a way to get my hands up in there and splice...
i need to get to the store and see what selection they have in silicone and or rtv sealers. can try the seal a hose trick. dosnt hurt to try. will give that a whirl and see what happens
thanks for the advice have the rubber flapper part its the metal arm inside the pump that rotted off. the pump impeller blades are fine. i figured i could always use some sort of drain stopper under the agitator to keep the wash tub full. the pull the agitator when done and remove the drain...
she runs fine but a few months ago the flap in the pump for the spin side broke off at that time i was able to get the pump off and remove the broken part. the wash tub side was still working. well now that flap has broken off. and both hoses from both tubs are split so if i can beg anyone...
