    Speed Queen washer motor hard to turn

    Hello, This is my first posting! I was wondering what the quality is of an Amana washer from around 1990. I know that Raytheon sold off their laundry division in 1998 but when they were making both Amana and Speed Queen, were the machines pretty much identical? I love Speed Queen machines...
