Jfv1103 Jo, Sorry for being five years late, but if you still have this machine (the Sunbeam 7019A), it should be known that you are supposed to at least have a 100-foot, 14-gauge extension cord. That is why your 50-foot extension was smoking on you the last time you used this. ~Ben
