What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Moms first Sears Kenmore automatic portable washing machine. My favorite cycle was the Permanent press cycle because it started with a normal wash speed then shifted down to low when it goes into the cool-down phase, the machine would drain halfway, then fill and agitate at the same time twice before it goes to the rinse cycle.
That portable was not what they called a portable in todays world. It was a 24" standard machine in a portable cabinet with a water fall recirculating lint filter.
