What are your dream machines yet to be found?
A Super slim refrigerator to fit in a narrow space. I 'd also love a Lacanche range.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
A hand operated mangle.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I keep everything as long as I can as long as it works well. I look after everything really well and try to cut down on consumption of stuff. We all need to make good single purchases for longevity and reduce landfill.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Yes, My Bosch washing machine which I had for 19 years. It washed brilliantly every time. I replaced the rubbers, the hose, the circuit board but last year it stopped working again and I thought it was time to have a new one. I bought Miele but it's nowhere near as good as my old Bosch.
