What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Owned 1970 Kenmore elec. dryer since new. only replaced belt once, no other repairs, just take apart to clean once. Matching 1970 Kenmore (ie. Whirlpool) washer died 2017. 1971 KitchenAid Superba dishwasher still working, 1951 Philco beer keg fridge still working, no repairs knock on wood.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Yes, installed bullet piercing valve to use vacuum pump to evacuate Magic Chef upright freezer which had lost most of its R134a Freon. Freezer condenser coils hidden in the sidewalls so can't find leak. Used 1/3 of a 3 oz can of metal leak stop and recharged with factory amount of 5.3 oz of R134a. Still works fine 1½ yr later. Have fixed 5 yr old Samsung microwave 3x- broken door latch spring perch, shorting control panel ribbon cable, broken door microswitch. Repaired KitchenAid dishwasher vinyl racks many times with Performix ReRACK vinyl repair liquid, replaced stovetop and oven elements and switchof elec. range, replaced timer, filter, fill valve of washer
