I will take the Speed Queen ANY DAY of the week over LG!

I'll repeat what washman said,...a high quality machine that carries the freight on wash day!

Washer and dryer: Speed Queen,...and nothing else but them! Fridge;currently have Frigidaire,...but would switch to Whirlpool or GE! Range;currently an oder Kenmore drop in 30" range,...would switch to WP if that bites the dust! Dishwasher:...my own two hands,...LOL!!! Through wall A/C...

Yeah,...and IMO,you can't really blame the engineers who design the new HE machines,...they most likely have orders from the damn greedy bean counters in the front office to design and build them as cheap as possible,...again just my opinion. Thank heaven Speed Queen doesn't operate that way...

GELaundry4ever,I have a new Speed Queen laundry pair and I love them. The new stuff,especially at the big box stores,are flimsy and cheaply constructed and yes,...they are designed to fail. The only REAL washer left IS Speed Queen,and they're built like a tank,...well worth the investment! Not...

Brings back memories for sure! We had both tube type units and later solid state units! The single speaker units had that huge 6x9 speaker,and I believe the stereo units did,too!

I was looking over photos of somer of your collections of vintage washing machines,and was looking at EDDY1210's collection. Came across a model A-78 Speed Queen washer. What year was this machine made? Seen some old General Electric machines in there,too! Seen an old Frigidaire similar to one...

My Spped Queen AWN432 is performing flawlessly for me,and so is the ADE3SR dryer,..have had the set just a little over a week now. My water level is fine and I NEVER overload the machine. As for the rough spot in the washer tub many of you have been talking about,...my machine doesn't have any...
