1967 Frigidaire WCD washer, 70s Frigidaire 1-18 washer, later model Speed Queen that still has overflow rinse cycle, and a Maytag (any year or model) that was pre-Whirlpool and has the aqua agitator with the normal agitation speed before it changed in the late 80s, early 90s.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Parents had 1957 models of Frigidaire washer, refrigerator, and 2 door oven/stove. After the washer and refrigerator died, Dad got a 67 WCD model washer and a 71 avocado green refrigerator for our new house. He also worked for GM/Chevrolet division.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Have only had apartment appliances, but would eventually like to move into a house (either rented or bought) and have my own new and vintage appliances.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
No, but would like to see/participate in a restoration on any kind of washer.
