What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
My grandmas AEG Favorit R top-loading dishwasher, which she bought in the 60s, as well as moms first dishwaser: a TOL Rex (Zanussi) bi-tub dishwasher. I started helping to use them as soon as I could.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
While living at my parents:
Washing machines: Candy 2.48, replaced in 1995 with a TOL Miele Novotronic.
Dishwashers: Rex bi-tub de luxe, Miele Automatic G579.
Now that Im living on my own: Miele W6566 washing machine and Bosch SGS57M12II Optixx dishwasher.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Unfortunately not, Im not really into reapairing and working on machines - I could just make things worst for the poor appliace. Im more into household appliances history and collecting old ads about dishwashers and detergents.
