What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
My grandmothers Kalvinator refrigerator anfpd her stove. I do not know the make or model but it had 2 ovens, 4 burners and large space in the center. It was always full of food, always warm and everyone was welcome
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I married my husband as a city girl. We moved into his family’s 1906 farm house. We switched to gas. Our modern stove did not last and I went on the hunt for a vintage stove, the Hone Comfort cook stove was his grandmothers and it is part of the house. I cook on it often, it used to also heat the water for this house. While looking for a vintage gas stove for my kitchen, I stumbled upon the Queen Atlantic wood cook stove. I had to have her. I am gathering her missing parts. I bought the Tennessee Stove Works 6 years ago for my kitchen. I have been told so much mis information about her. I found a wonderful kind restorer recently. I hope to have her in my kitchen soon with his help. I’m hoping someone here knows about this company
