Evaporust
I would pick up some Evaporust and let those bolts soak overnight at least. It is a chelating agent that removes rust without damaging the underlying metal (unlike acids). After that, I would get the tightest fitting six point socket on there. Tapping and applying heat may help as...
Maytag HOH door gaskets
Another part grouping that would likely be of interest regarding reproduction would be the door gaskets for the Maytag Halo of Heat dryers.

FriGEmore washer
Looks like the old 3.1 cubic foot Frigidaire design also sold under the GE, Kenmore, White-Westinghouse (and possibly other) brand names. It is probably from the late '90s or early 2000s. I think these washers could have bearing issues and spider failures and I don't think...
Easy three-cup agitator
My maternal grandmother said she had a machine with a three-cup agitator when they were first married. They got married in 1934 and I assume it was an Easy brand. I have seen one of these run in person at the New Jersey State Fair in Augusta, New Jersey. The usually...
303 All-purpose cleaner and 303 Marine protectant
Here in the States, 303 Aerospace/Marine Protectant is a very good product for vinyl, rubber and plastics (plastics that are NOT clear). I have used it with very good results.
Here is their original "Aerospace protectant" (apparently called...
Check for any foreign objects in the tub drain holes
Greetings:
On a couple of occasions, we have had clicking noises in our front load washer (Maytag Epic 9700) that were caused by foreign objects trapped in one of the tub drain holes (wire, a thin piece of plastic, a nail, etc.) As the tub...
Suffix KW = 1970 October
Beautiful set. Looks like they were made in:
K = 1970
W = October
Best of luck with them.

Maytag serial number suffix to date charts
Greetings:
Here is an old thread with the later date code suffixes (back to 1949):

This other site has an early chart (looks like back to 1929)...

Hi low twin thread
Wow, that is unusual. It almost looks like a concrete screw but with a blunt end and a rubber sealing washer.
Lorain Furniture used to have them but are apparently out of stock...
Rare/difficult to find?
Is there something unique about the type of screw? If the head is torn up, you may be able to use a file to clean it up a bit, but it may be easier to just source a replacement.
I had a missing lower cabinet screw on my Maytag A700. I found an exact replacement at my...
Great looking Hotpoint
Nice looking washer. That looks like a fancier version of the Hotpoint set that my parents had from 1984 (purchased new) to about 2010. I remember replacing the belt and the pump once and that was all.
You should post the model and serial number here. I'll bet that...
