Okay. I'll take some of those opinions. I have a basement door opening that is 24 1/4 inches wide. This is the only constraint on washer/dryer size. Looking for electric units. What are some recommendations? DRL123

I'm looking at the Maytag Compact 2.4 cu. ft. frontloading washer and the compact dryer. I can't find specific reviews about these items. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions? DRL123
