What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Sitting and watching my dads 1985 Maytag A382 washing away with a putty knife used to bypass the lid switch.
Watching my grandmas older Whirlpool DD washer running through it’s cycles.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I got my first washer in the summer of 2016. I found the 1986 Kenmore 70 Series for sale in the back of a Goodwill, and for 20 bucks and a lot of convincing, I was able to bring it home. Since then I’ve collected a few more machines, and have met many new people!
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Replaced belts, motors, switches, rust holes, and other issues with my machines.
