Andrew, I was able to get a pin guide from one of the members here for my clamshell timer, so all is now well. Thanks for the heads up on where parts are still available, since I'll continue to fix and use this machine till the transmission blows up! steve

Hi, Does anybody know where I can get a working plastic 'clamshell' timer for my GE WWA8500 washer? Rebuild? Part of the internal plastic arm that presses on the contact bars snapped off, and it's pointless to try to glue it because of the amount of stress on it. Is there a newer replacement...
