Holding the pipe for the twin tub while my Granny did the laundry.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
My cooker was bought new as a wedding present in 1960, it was used daily until 6 months ago when the lady died and I bought it from her son, promising I would keep using it. My Teasmade was a Christmas present from a man to his wife and after his death she went into a home and decided not to take it, my husband bought it as a birthday present for me which seemed very fitting! It even has its original certificate and warranty.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
The cooker needed a little bit of tlc, but not much. My husband is a white goods engineer so he is comfortable repairing most appliances.
