What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?

As a child I watched my elderly neighbor cooking phenomenal meals with her 1940's 40 inch double oven electric stove.

What is the history of appliances you have owned?

I have had my 1953 Frigidaire Imperial 40 inch stove for 20+ years and love it!
