An early model Maytag now that I have found the Simpson Wringer I was looking for.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Good memories at my Grandparents sitting around their wood fuelled stove, their vintage fridge, an old player piano and "helping" my grandmother with her old wringer washer
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Some are family items passed down, others are ones Ive had the luck to find. Favourites in my washers are an early Simpson Model B short skirt wringer washer and other is a GE short skirt wringer approx 1935/1940 with pump and a Hotpoint with pump of similar age.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Just starting to do restoration, but have done own repairs on various items previously to keep them going.
