The Maytag Neptune TL: The Washer that Caused Maytag’s Death

Seems the acquisition of Maytag by Whirlpool wasn't as messy as what GM did to Frigidaire.

When did Whirlpool start go to bad?

That may explain Whirlpool's aggressive agitation removing tough, ground in dirt better than GE did. In theory.

Thank you so much! How were the corners like on the GM models? The ones I remember had sharp corners on the WCI and Electrolux models.

    When did Frigidaire go bad?

I agree 100%. I believe alternating wash arms is a European trait too, which I believe Frigidaire was the first to do in their dishwashers.

    When did Frigidaire go bad?

What about their dishwashers that alternate wash arms? Wasn't this also during the Electrolux time period? I heard it was done to adapt European features into the American market through research.

Washers, dryers, and dishwashers at Golden Haven Apartments

Did the arms alternate, or did they run all at once?

    When did Frigidaire go bad?

I heard that the 1990s were a time for HE washers that Frigidaire started. Then they went to the dishwasher with alternating wash action.
