I have the Kenmore Elite by LG, and I noticed that it will do cold water first, then hot water. If the pump cavitates due to fabric absorption, it will add more cold water. This is using the default normal/casual cycle with accelawash.

My first impressions on this dishwasher is that it's quiet. I'm going to run another load tomorrow morning after breakfast or tonight. I put in a very dirty load and it sensed it need a full force wash. I used the auto cycle with high temp and both extra and night dry.

Same, but it seems to me it's permanent.

I don't like GE because there's no water recirculation. I'd rather take LG over GE if given the choice.

I agree with you completely. Also, I hate how inaccessible it is.

I prefer water recirculation too, as this is what my Kenmore Elite built by LG does. I want detergent, bleach, softener, etc. to mixed through.

I believe the new models will be no different. No thank you.

It's only getting worse. GE should be ashamed along with everybody else.
