What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Frigidaire TL about 1969 vintage - Australian made version. Sorry Unimatic, they are not happy memories. Vibrating the whole house, having to reset the cut-out several times to get it to spin, etc....

What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I scrounge machines from recycle centres and roadside hard garbage collections.
Mainly late model front load stuff, but I do occasionally find something old & interesting.
I had a Hoover Keymatic a few years ago, which I repaired to working cond but despite it being a very interesting machine it didnt wash well and was in scruffy condition so it went to the recyclers... Sorry. I have been told off for this on the Home Site appliance forum already...

Yes. I regularly repair newer machines though I am not a professional and have done one or two old ones.
