What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Blackstone Wringer Washer purchased by my folks in 1945. The agitator was unique. And the drip system was chrome plated instead of painted.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
In the 70s Had a Lady Kenmore Washer and Electric Dryer. The dryer I converted to gas by purchasing the alternat parts and it was easy to change and worked for years. Left it in a previous house.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Of course. I just got done fixing my GE Sidebyside with Ice and water in the door. It stopped cooling and making ice. It needed new defrost coils and I replace the timer for good measure. It is back up and running like a champ now and it is 24 years old.
