It sounds like suspension to me. The suspension does sound different handling shocks from a high-speed spin. Not sure if the spider's a possibility though

Guess that's because elux doesn't make any 39cm deep model. and they might find it more profitable to sell cheap rebadged machines than producing their own budget machines

And Hoover-branded machines aren't available here in HK, I guessed that's why they put whatever badges on Hoover-styled machines.

Philco washers (not washer-dryers) sold here are actually rebadged Bekos...

All Philco products here are rebadged (usually not rebadged Electrolux products though) But you'll never guess what Electrolux decided to put the Philco Badge on...

This design is standard on most(if not all) full-size top loaders across asia. Panasonic, Hitachi, Toshiba and others make them too

My Candy also does that. Maybe the timer as a separated system from the main control thingy.
