    whirlpool duet front seal

It is level. I removed the four shocks. Each feel about the same and have good tension. While I had them removed, the gap was about the same between the tub and front seal. I tilted the back up about 3" to make the tub touch the seal. The new seal measures exactly the same as the original one...

The top of the tub is close and the bottom of the tub is 3/4" away. Should I assume the shock mounts need replaced...

whirlpool duet tub is not level

I have a duet washer that the front load tub seal was chewed up on the last load. Do not know how, but a huge chunk was taken out of it. I have the seal off, but have noticed that the tub hangs lower in the back than the front. Is it to be level and did this cause the tub seal to be damaged? Guy
