@panasonicvac The next major thing to happen will be the TR series quietly go away and the TC series, or at least new models with their "classic clean" internals, will be brought back.
@gelaundry4ever thank you
@rapunzel then you want the TC5. The TR series are the ones we're complaining...
Alright, look...
Have any of you *never* predicted something and had it not come true?
Give me a break.
Spats and I were contacted by a lady who claimed to be from Alliance, had an Alliance email address, and said she was a product engineer and fan of our channel. She gave me the information...
OMG I found another 70-Series BD for use as a donor machine!
The cabinet is pretty shot, there's a ton of gouges, dents and dings, etc, but mechanically it works fine and there's no rust inside. I'm gonna try to somehow struggle this 250-pound beast into the truck this afternoon.
There is a...
OMG y'all are all great! Thank you so much for the offers! Eugene: No worries, we have put a hundred-thousand miles on it since! Spats is gonna measure it tonight.
Again, thank you all, it's so nice to be in a modern online community with nice people.
Folks, Spatsbear and I had an unfortunate event...

Thanks Barry! Yeah, that was the reason for the incorrect link, we're trying to give away the Maytag pair. The dryer is 100%, the washer has an iffy tub seal. We're getting ahold of the older machines, so the Maytags being 1996.. they're great, but we're shooting for "older."
And yup, the...
Hi all,
Spats and I are running low on storage space. The 1996 Maytag pair we have in storage...well...gotta go. We are preferring to give away the pair to a fellow laundry enthusiast instead of the local Habitat Store, where they may be used and abused.
The dryer is perfectly functional...
And it should be pointed out that if you adjust the fill on an 8 or 9 series, and even just barely turn the screw, it can fill TOO high and it will cause an error, at which point the machine will simply stop, drain and spin, and sit there.
Yup, I tried. LOL.
