What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
it was with Hoover Electron 600 i remember my self from child hood to stay at my grandma's kitchen and watching all the programs till the end.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
the Hoover Electronic Automatic de luxe begin journey from South Africa bought from my teachers aunt at 1975 send it in Greece brand new and stayed in a storage for 30 years in 2003 found it my teacher inh the storage of her house then call her aunt and tell's to her that found a washing machine in the storage and she says oh yeah we bought a washing machine from here and is brand new in the box you can take it.
in 2011 i've start private lessons with my teacher at her house one day we finished the lessons, drinking coffee and talking together and start to say pfff i can't wait for the next week comes my new washing machine i'm bored with the hand wash i start laughing and saying to her why? you haven't a washing machine? her start laughing too and says of course and i have... an old Hoover but is brocken then i stoped laughing and saying please can i see it? i like old Hoovers and when opened the door and i see one de luxe model with square chrome door im saying to her oh my god is a de luxe model!!! her starts laughing again and says so what? is for the trash, loses water and i want one new modern and silent machine!!! i want it saying to her never thought that i can find one model like this in Greece and she agreed to give it to me. From 2011 i have it in my hands this old jewel.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
i change alone the soap lift rubber in the upper side of the drum now i want to fix the tub of the drum cause leaking above of the motor and searching for shock absorbers
