    Whirlpool 1975 Imperial Portable Dishwasher

    Pull the lower racks out and feel around the sump for rust bubbles. Just watch out for broken glass down there. Also tip the machine back and look at the underside around the mounting flange for rust. Other than that it's good to go. Parts are still available for it.

    The brake shoes are too tight. You can either change the spring in the brake assy or squirt some oil up there.

    Those silly things are made by merloni. Very simple machines. Lowes has the exclusive for 6 months. In 6 to 12 months these machines are going to be replaced with real WPL built machines.
