Does anyone know if Solo is still available anywhere? I haven't seen it in years but I thought Surf was extinct until recently finding it in Target. Last I saw Solo was in a Big Lots so I'm not too hopeful. Thanks in advance for any info.

I have a Speed Queen wringer washer, a 50s model I believe, that we were using up until a couple months ago. It starting leaking underneath; just a slow steady drip, and the tray that is under the wringer came off but the wringer and washer still work. The pump wasn't working when we got it so...

I've used Tandil... but never the HE version. The regular Tandil worked okay but didn't really get tough stains out. I find that Spray and Wash is the best for getting out stains. BTW, what happens if you use HE detergent in a regular top loader?

I just bought one exactly like that ebay for $20. I've already done a couple loads in it and I can't believe how well it works! The quality is far better than any modern washer I've owned.
