Early KitchenAid KDS-21: The Holy Grail Has Finally Been Found

I do love the looks of the 21 series, but I'm so fussy that I couldn't abide by the single final rinse. Around 2011, I did get a KDC-20 portable. I initially had some issues, but a Finish Powerball broken in half in each dispenser fixed about 90% of the problems. I sold it when I moved in 2016...

Dishwashers losing popularity in US Homes???

To each his own, but I cook a lot and rely on my dishwasher. I feel the dishwasher does a far superior job than I can do by hand and frankly I did way too many dishes by hand growing up, so I will never hand wash again.

    Ever try Dubai Chocolate?

We were just talking about these at work. Are they any good?

    18"Danby DW

In 2002 I bought my sister and her husband a countertop Danby dishwasher. They had Corelle dishes and fit a ton in it. When it died it was replaced by an 18 inch Kenmore portable. I still feel the Danby washed better.

"New and improved" cascade platinum and platinum plus.

I had to switch back to Cascade Complete Powder mostly but use Finish Quantum for heavy soil. My new Seasons dishwasher foams way too much with the Platinum Pacs.

    Best Buy Insignia appliances

Agiflow I've had a few different dishwashers with the same top rack, and it is awful. I haven't owned a single coffee mug that has fit. The same with my drinking glasses. They fit on the outer row but that's it. I'm sure Corelle fits beautifully, but not my stoneware.

    Seasons Dishwasher

GE I think it's made by Midea and the wash arms all move at the same time.

    Seasons Dishwasher

GELaundry I found a link to its homepage for a description. I wasn't in the kitchen when I ran it, so I don't know if it alternates wash arms. Plus, it is so quiet I couldn't tell...

    Seasons Dishwasher

My apartment complex previously used Whirlpool and Amana dishwashers. However, during a brief period during the pandemic when supplies were low my complex got a few of these. I just got one that was left over today. It is ridiculously quiet and seems to wash pretty well. I've only ran one load...

    Detergent choices

Bob I switched from Persil to Tide with Downy and Tide Hygiene. No complaints with either

    New Detergent Ratings

I just switched from Persil to Tide Ultra Oxi after many years. My towels didn't seem as "fresh" to me anymore. I thought that maybe my water composition had changed or something like that. Interesting

    Kenmore dishwashers

Actually the Lowe's near my house has Kenmore dishwashers https://www.lowes.com/pl/Kenmore--Dishwashers-Appliances/4294857925?refinement=3785168024

    Moen or Insinkerator

When I moved into this apartment 6 years ago there was a Badger 5 Ace Hardware garbage disposal. Naturally the first time I used it for potato peels it clogged. I ended up buying an ISE Evolution Space Saver and have never had another clog. I feed it veggie peels, chicken bones and all kinds of...

The Dilemma: Which dishwasher to keep?

Personally I'd keep both but I'm leaning toward the Kitchen Aid just for the sake of nostalgia
