I now have a 1960 Turquoise GM Frigidaire Spin Tube Dishwasher. late 19709s GE filter flow (thanks to Yogitunes), 1960s Frigidair Flair Stove and a 1951 Frigidair Refrigerator. I also have a 1903 double drainboard American Standard Sink. Im planning to build a vintage kitchen in 201? which will also be my home office for my Pampered Chef Business.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I like washers and dryers that have windows so you can see what is going on.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
My mom tells a story on me about being facinated with a neighbors wringer washer. But when I was a young boy in Alaska in the 1960s, my mom had a Kenmore washing machine that she would open up and hold the button down during the spin cycle for me to see.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
My parents were Kenmore people for many years.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
No, but would love to help someone with restoring one. An now that I have a set Ill need some help when I get moved.
