I have two ASKO washers in service now but I only use one. Some parts are getting very hard to get now so not sure Id recommend this brand for a daily driver (unless you have a backup and time to work with them).
I have one SQ FL (prior generation) that Id really like to hook up but its so heavy I just cant move it into position yet.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I was tempted by a good used Miele set recently but Ive run out of room. I also get the sense parts and repair can be a real problem because Miele support in the U.S. has such a poor reputation.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Currently considering an old Maytag (Amana-tag) but dont know if it will be worth the effort and cost.
UPDATE: It was NOT worth the effort I put into it. After new parts and lots of work it started leaking from the center seal area. I learned here at AW that was a common problem and that I should have started with a WP/KM DD instead - which I later did.
