Taming a Rollermatic - Custom Deluxe style!

How Wonderful! Ben, this is one the finest tutorials on Rollermatic restoration I have ever seen here.  I would love to know if you have any advice on how to tame the Sure-Spin Rapidry clutch.  I have ran into several issues on those machines, including my own where you can get it to develop...

ISO 1966 GM Frigidaire RollerMatic Pump

What sort of problem are you having with this pump?  Looks like all the parts are there and are ok except I don't see the impeller and seal setup.  Looks like someone has been into it before with the dried sealant on the side of the housing.

    Speed Queen AWN 432

I can not believe I am actually making a post about a modern machine!  However, I recently acquired a pre-owned Speed Queen AWN 432 set with the assistance of fellow club member Bob Orear.  It took quite a bit of cleaning up and a new wire and fuse on the dryer.  The previous owner was a heavy...

    Philco washer in NC

One of our other NC members has acquired the machine and I'm very happy about that.  I really just wanted to make sure that it had a good home and now it does!  But I'll say, from what they told me everything I thought about these people was true

    Frigidaire 1-18

It's not possible to repair a compromised bellows, it must be replaced. I have looked on ebay for you and did not see one for sale. They do show up from time to time however. It is a specific part for the 1-18 and not compatible with other Frigidiare water bellows that would have what we call...

    Frigidaire 1-18

I don't know the size right off hand but your going to likely need another person to help hold the agitator to get the nut off.  They're generally a pain to remove.  Sounds like in your case you may have a leaking water bellows, hence the nail...

    IBM Selectric II Correcting Typewriter

In my best form in high school typing class,  I burned 142 wpm on a Selectric II and was the fastest in the school.  It was a few characters behind me in keeping up.  I inherited fast fingers from Mother.
