My moms servis quartz used to love how thos machine operated, nans hotpoint wm52 loved the spin cycle on this machine and my other nans hoover quattro loved the jet on this machine and the distri wash
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
All appliances are my moms as I still live at home
Dishwashers
1988-1999 servis built in dishwasher cant remember the model number and vaguely remember it
2009-2015 we bought a beko dishwasher although it never had to be repaired it wasnt the best at cleaning
2015- present hotpoint df62 dishwasher in graphite it is brilliant cleans everything in under an hour
tumble dryers
1988-1996 white knight compact givem to my mom by my nan mom then gave this to her friend
1994-2002 white knight full size sensordry reverse action died of a siezed motor but was a work horse with a family of 9 it worked day and night for years
2002-2009 creda tvr2 broke down repetedly with belts breaking every few months the drum dropped out of this machine
2009-2012 beko dvr62s another machine that ate belts
2012-2012 bosch classixs condensor dryer completed 2 dry cycles and the pcb failed
2012-2012 hotpoint tcm580p lasted 3 months and started to trip the fuse board for no reason
replaced with a reconditioned creda tcr2 which worked flawlessly until november 2014 when the heater gave up this then got replaced by a miele tc8822c which I love it drys a load in an hour
Washing machines
1988-1997 servis quartz worked flawlessly although dad had to bodge the door release which resulted it the button sticking out the side of the control panel and would shock you when you pressed it to open the door
1994-1998 nan gave mom her hotpoint 18series washing machine whice the door release button also didnt work on so the door used to be prized open with a butter knife. This machine got dropped when we moved house so in 1998 came the indesit I cant remember the model number for this but the wash tub split after 18month.
2000 after 9 months with no washing machine mom bought a zanussi IZ16 washing machine we were in awe at how fast it span but the bearings siezed with no warning in 2004
Nan refusing to do our washing sge bought my mom an indesit wil103 cheap and cheerful machine which mom gave away to her husbands daughter in 2009 and she still uses it now.
2009 came the dreaded whirlpool 8kg washing machine this had more repairs then it spent working so after 2 years and 3pcb boards later it went and was replaced by moms husbands bosch excell which started to leak in 2013 we replaced this with a reconditioned hotpoint wt960p which lasted 2 months and the heater went but the shop replaced this giving us a machine of our choice we had a miele novotronic w103 I think which washed its last load in june 2015 when the machine flooded the kitchen we decided to have a brand new shiny machine which is a samsung eco bubble which has worked flawlessly ever since
