Appliance repair Job
I worked for Sears Roebuck back in the good days in the 70s when you could make a very good salary and we were treated well. I was able to raise two children as a single parent and we were quite satisfied life style . It was an honest profession.
Heater Model?
I’m not familar with a whirlpool with a heater. Where is it located on the machine? Does anyone have pictures etc showing one? I never saw one in the States.
Ignitor
I would change the ignitor. This one amazingly has the original that was replaced with an upgrade per a service flash. It lights but does not satisfy the burner with a change of resistence and the safety times out. The new one looks nothing like the original.

There is a clip that you can pop off and expose the wick so you can literally oil the felt that will keep it properly lubricated and the clip snaps right back in
Blower bearing
If you take the blower assembly out and separate the plates you will find the oil wick. You can pop the clip off and saturate the wick and replace the clip. Much more effective.
