What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Always on the hunt for early (1930s) Westinghouse roasters. I would love to find a 1954 30" Norge electric stove, which my mom cooked on when I was very young and a mid/late 50s Westinghouse Frost Free refrigerator.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Watching my grandma cook on her 1951 Frigidaire stove (still made by GM - big here in Detroit) and waiting for the wonderful food to be ready to eat.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Most of the appliances I owned/own came from thrift stores, flea markets or estate sales.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Ive made minor electrical repairs - new cords, etc. and have repainted some of my appliances. Im very good at cleaning years of dirt, grease, etc. from these beautiful machines.
